SPONSORSHIP / FESDIKGANA 2026
Prepared communities begin with informed young people.
SEATELSAT supported BPBD DKI Jakarta’s Festival Pendidikan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana, helping advance disaster-preparedness education for students and communities.

01 / BEFORE THE EMERGENCY
Readiness begins
before it is needed.
In the festival hall, the message is written across a bright blue screen: Siaga Bencana, Selamatkan Masa Depan. Students sit facing the stage, and the name FESDIKGANA fills the room. This is a gathering about emergencies, held at a time when there is space to learn.
That distinction matters. Preparedness education creates an opportunity to think about risk before decisions have to be made under pressure. It gives young people a setting in which to ask questions, recognise the language of disaster awareness and take part in a shared learning experience.
SEATELSAT supported FESDIKGANA 2026, BPBD DKI Jakarta’s Festival Pendidikan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana. The sponsorship reflects a commitment to the people who make a resilient city possible: students, educators, public institutions and communities whose understanding matters alongside the infrastructure around them.

02 / LEARNING READINESS
Making a serious subject
accessible and memorable.
FESDIKGANA places disaster education in a participatory setting. BPBD’s account of the 2026 South Jakarta event describes drawing and quiz competitions designed to develop young people’s knowledge, creativity and disaster awareness. The format gives students an active role in the programme.
Official North Jakarta coverage describes a similar approach: primary-school pupils communicating preparedness ideas through posters, and older students exploring disaster knowledge through team quizzes. Creative expression and discussion become different routes into the same subject.
The educational value of that approach is easy to understand. To draw a message, a student must decide what matters. To answer a question with a team, participants must recall information, listen and reach a shared response. A festival can make room for those habits while keeping attention on a public purpose.

03 / YOUNG VOICES
A festival creates
room to participate.
The photographs show more than a formal presentation. Students watch the stage; performers and musicians share the programme; the room becomes a place for attention and participation. Education can take many forms when the audience is invited into the experience.
The aim is not simply to place information in front of young people. It is to help make that information approachable enough to discuss and memorable enough to revisit. A visual idea, a question or a shared activity can become a starting point for a longer conversation.
The wider FESDIKGANA programme connects that engagement with disaster knowledge. In North Jakarta’s official account, quiz topics included disaster types, mitigation and response. These are foundations for understanding a subject that extends beyond a competition and into the life of a city.
04 / A CONNECTED CITY
Technology carries information.
People give it meaning.
A modern city depends on systems that connect information, institutions and people. Communications can help carry a warning, support coordination or make an official message available. Yet the meaning of that message still has to be understood by the person receiving it.
This is the human side of the technology story. A connected environment and an informed community are complementary ambitions. Infrastructure provides a means of communication; education helps build the familiarity that makes information useful.
For SEATELSAT, supporting preparedness education sits naturally alongside an interest in connectivity and critical communications. The sponsorship supports a public learning programme. It expresses a broader view of resilience in which community understanding belongs beside technical capability.
The festival offers a useful reminder for anyone designing digital infrastructure: begin with the people who will rely on information. Ask how messages become understandable, how institutions remain recognisable and how knowledge can become part of everyday conversation.
